Duane Hatfield brings a wide spectrum of experience to eFormed Partners.  Along with his 27 years in the outdoor products market, Hatfield has held leadership positions in the semi-conductor capital equipment and forest product fields.  He has served in multiple Senior Management roles in Finance, Product Planning & Logistics. Central to his 27 years of experience at Leupold & Stevens was formulating strategies around inventory positioning, resource optimization, and supply chain coordination.  Hatfield’s keen focus on a continuous improvement culture, grew capabilities through development and encouraged engagement and problem solving.  On the finance side, he established financial and operational analysis directly supporting Senior Management decisions, established a consistent SIO&P process and facilitated product demand forecasting.

Outside of Leupold, Duane has held several Financial Controller and Manager positions which focused on providing sound fiscal processes, maintaining liquidity and improve financial modeling capabilities.  At Electro Scientific Industries, he developed divisional reporting and project management processes.  At Mid-Columbia Lumber and Western Fab & Finish he ensured GAAP compliance, managed audit/tax engagement, provided board level review and developed business trend analytics.

Intrinsic to all of Hatfield’s roles was a heavy participation in system implementations. Duane was the lead for integrating leading edge demand planning architecture with the Oracle business suite at Leupold.  He has participated or led five major implementations and has been a speaker at several national user groups.

Duane graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Business Administration.  He has also participated in national conferences with the Institute for International Research as both a speaker and Co-Chair.
